Has anyone tried these fog housings for the 5.5 gen?

I currently have the yellow Nokya H3s, but they just aren't yellow enough with the stock clear lenses (my dad even thought they were white), so I browsed around on ebay and found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03...spagenameZWDVW

For some reason the price just seems a bit high, and I've never heard of Racing_Guys before (not to mention it sounds a bit ) But if anyone has ever used them or has any observations I'd appreciate it.

u can also go for the lumincs... if u want that yellow look... theres a thread open for a while now and it has a poll with different types of yellow fog light looks check it out cuz i know a couple of 5.5 genners wanted that so they either went with the 3000k hid fog kit but most went witht the luminics

you can just tint the fog lights with yellow tint. it'll give off a yellow light plus protect the lense from rocks and stuff. cheaper than swapping the whole fog light housing

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, judging by that thread, the Luminics aren't much more yellow than the Nokyas I have right now. The capsules look just about right to me but I've heard they're alot of work to install for not much cheaper than this plug n' play housing I'm looking at.

Would that involve a film of some sort, kind of like Laminex? As long as it's durable (I do alot of highway driving) I would prefer to go that route rather than buy all new housings, because neither of mine are cracked.

those fogs wont fit without rewiring. go with POLARG B1 hologen pure yellow H3 3000k. thats what i have in my fogs and they are brighter and more yellowish than nokya, luminics or any other brand out there. the great thing is POLARG is japanese brand. following is the link for ebay auction these bulbs are $70 else where.

Wanted to buy 1 for my 01. after too much researching i figured that they are not plug and play you will have to cut the original wire connector (socket) and then tape the wires with these ebay aftermarket fog lights. its not worth it. i am gonna go for that tint tape $20 one.

Do you have pics? Post them up I wanna see the output of these bulbs. Thanks.

Also the tint is clean and extremely easy to apply. It is adhesive on one side and can be heated up to stretch if need be. Obviously won't for the fog lights but can be for the headlights.

I've used Lamin-x and it's not much more yellow than any yellow bulbs....nowhere close to the capsules (which are NOT that hard to install if you have half a brain)

Yesterday I emailed HIDtech about the capsules and how to install them, but I haven't heard back from them. Since I alternate between having half a brain and a quarter of a brain, I want to make sure I understand absolutely everything that's involved.

it doesn't take much work, bake your fogs, unscrew the metal shield, drill three holes for the tabs that are on the capsule, stick it in and Epoxy glue so they dont move, and put everything back together. if you dont want the yellow coloring put the metal shield back on. If you mix these with the ion bulbs they will be very yellow. good luck! i say best bang for the buck.

isnt it better to go for yellow 4000k HID's in fogs instead of going through all the baking and drilling hassle. the cheaper you can go is have some great quality of yellow H3's in fogs. Polarg will do.

I just recieved the 3M adhesive yellow tint tape from www.stickercity.com
i ordered a pair for 01 maxima fogs and they sent me those in large size. i ended up cutting them from side to side but couldnt do a professional job got some tiny flat bubble spots but they dont look that bad you can only see them if you come close and pay attention. first of all they should have sent me the right size for 01 maxima fogs. but anyway i didnt wanna go thru sending them back etc, so i just aplied it on top of my fogs and here how they look right now.
