Check Engine Light- Kind of on...
My check engine light can be seen on at night (probably on during the day too, but too bright out to notice), but very faintly. Been like this since I got the car. I've tried pulling codes, but everything comes up clear. All the other dash lights are either out or on full brightness like they are supposed to be. This light for some reason is on, but very, very dim. Sometimes I can barely make out that it says "check engine soon". Any ideas?

My 2002 has been doing this since I bought it as well. But lately (in the last week), I have noticed that a few other lights are sometimes very, very dim as well when i'm driving. Is this the same old diode issue? The Service Engine Soon light is always dim, but these others (i.e. seat belt warning light, low fuel light) are only sometimes dim. Is there any way to fix the issue? BTW, I have a 2002 SE 6spd with 57,000 miles on it.

I wouldn't worry about fixing it though unless it's just REALLY painful to look at!

02bluese, i've got the same problem lol, since i bought the car I only see it at night, I've had it scanned by 2 dealers and no codes came up. It annoys me, but I try to ignore it, if there's a fix, I'm interested and it seems like we're both close to eachother
