Need your Help guys!!!

I know this should probably be in the audio section, but I think its too plain over there and they should split the audio section to different gen’s. Anyway, I really REALLY want to get the Pioneer Avic-Z1 for my 03 Maxima TE. I have the BOSE HU. I want the double din look and still keep my steering wheel controls and my BOSE speakers and sub. What do I need.?? Can anyone help me out here? Crutchfield.com doesn’t list Z1 to fit my vehicle!??!? True?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thank you – and a Happy New Year!

i completely hear you, get a pac adapter OEM1 and an internal antenna adapter. for the swc you'll need a resistor to keep the trip button. dont skimp on the mounting bracket (otherwise, you'll have a real pain in the @#$ getting it in)...and get a wiring harness, it'll save you trouble.

it's not a full double din, all mounting kits i've seen have a small pocket/compartment to use up the leftover space

this is the same one i got through my local audio store

/\ BUMP!!!

Common guys.. NO ONE replaced their stock BOSE????? i need a double din kit to fir the AVIC-Z1.. where do i get the kit? I know what i need as far as adapters and etc.. The only things i need are the following.

- DASH KIT to mount DOUBLE DIN AVIC-Z1
- What do i need for the TRIP button?? totally confused about this.

If I have a place install it, they should take care of all trims and etc? or should i get it all myself and it'll save me $$$ ???

COMMON GUYS, I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW MORE THAN EVER!!! all we ever talk about here are lights and wheels.. lol

Hey I replaced my Bose on my 00 GLE with a 7" Flip up.. I was inquiring about double din...They stated would have to do a custom dash kit.. I was lookin at the Avic ones my self...But a lil more than I wanted to spen... AS far as wiring harnesses...Your local Cir City should be able to have them or order them.. Just need a wiring harness to plug in the back just like you would normal get except this one is made so that none of the radios power is put out to the speakers bc they r self powered same for sub... I am going on what they told me and I trust them helped me out alot!... Hopefully this helps..Josh
