So I need to replace all 4 of my clear corner lights on my 01 max.
I still have the old ones that weren't sealed with silicone so they now cracked. Can any1 give me any advice on the best ones to buy? I did a search on ebay and found these two seller

Put them on my friends 01' Black/Black today..look very nice. 2 minute installation as well.

 

get the smoked ones!!!! if you want clear ill sell you mine for cheaper....

 

Nilesh I actually got a silver one. You keep thinking I have a black one for some reason lol.

Anywa guys I just realized the the rear drivers side clear one fell off and somehow took the bulb with it. Basicallt the whole mechanism and the only thing that is left are the 2 or 3 wires just sicking out in the space. Is this easily fixed? They just plug into a new socket right? Any1 know where Ic an get the clear ones with the socket or should I just buy the clear ones on ebay and look elsewhere for the actual socket?

Also any recommends on which ebay seller to go with? Thanks everyone.

since I dont do ebay..Im getting mine from cattman..way more than those $20 ones on ebay but never had a problem with cattman before...eh but I think its worth it..also if anything goes wrong ...they dont hesitate to back it up..

Wherever you buy them from, seal them up. I have all 4 clears, and one has bad condensation, so I will have to run some sealant over the original seal.

 

Where do you buy SMOKED marker lights? Got any pics??

I used to run 4 clears and Polarg M-4s on my old 02 but I just came back into the max scene and Custom Enterprise (whom I bought the first ones from) don't seem to be doing very well in the customer satisfaction. I've never used the smoked ones but I think Cattman might be the best place to get them from.

 

I doubt you're going to find the harness anywhere but dealer or junkyard. It will have to be spliced back into existing wiring.

 

Hey Get the clear corners they look great on the silver Maximas, unless you are going to do a carbon fiber hood and gun metal wheels. Then you should get the smoked clears, that will go with all those darker parts great.

 

who is selling the smoked clears now?

 

Find me the whole set of smoked ones. They don't make them anymore and no one wants to part ways with theirs.

 

If they are not selling them anymore then here is what you do: Buy some clear front corners off of ebay, then go to the parts store and get spray tint and some 550 grit sandpaper. When you have all that sand the corners lightly so that the paint will have something to stick to. After they are sanded spray them with vary light even coats till they are to your liking.

P.S. Dont worry if the sandpaper makes them look frosted, the paint will make them transparent again.

 

Damn this is not good. Time to go to the junk yard. do you guys think I will have to buy the whole side marker or they will sell me just the socket?
