While this was happening I figured it had to do with a leak or MAF problem. What I did was clean the throttle body, which now fixed the problem, but I still have the problem where when revving the engine about 3-4k rpm, and let off, I get a whirring whining noise around the air intake area. Also after cleaning the TB, my idle stays around 900 rpm at park and neutral but drops to around 750-800 at drive. At the same time I have the SES light for the MAF since it was disconnected when I cleaned the TB. Anyone experience a similar problem? I'm about ready to take it in for service but don't want the advisor to say it's normal or there is no problem.

 

when you clean these throttlebodies you Have to do an idle air relearn. Just take it to a dealership
It will set a Mil light and run high and also stall at startup. A realearn will solve all 3
