Tranny getting lazy...

My auto tranny is getting lazy between shifts, especially when it is cold. I have added Lucas, replaced with fresh fluid, added Seafoam, replaced with fresh fluid, no luck. She's got 92k on the odo. Is there any internal adjustments or is she about to go?

You can put seafoam just about anywhere that has a hole...

How's your MAF sensor? That is what is wrong with my car. Same symptoms. I did everything you did too except for the seafoam.

Edit: you're not supposed to put seafoam in your transmission. Thats a very expensive part to take a chance on. Technically it could dislodge some plaque and then you're in for a rebuild.

yeah man,.. new MAF less then 100 bucks and u can do it urself in no time,.. if u havnt replaced it yet its time to do so,..you wont be disapointed,.. its amazing how the MAF can effect shifting points and how the tranny reacts,.. damn ECU
(i had the same problems and it was MAF for sure)

Just for the record I put Seafoam Trans Tune in my tranny. I assumed that since it said it is for auto transmissions it would be ok. I'm being sarcastic. I'm not stupid enough to put engine treatment in a tranny!!!!!! For you sceptics the part number is TT-16. Bottle claims cleans gum and varnish, smooths rough and erractic shifting and also works in power steering units and hydraulics.

Try the TCM first...then the MAF if the TCM doesn't take care of it.
