First of all, if anyone in FL can actually provide me with this engine and trans, please speak up.

I'm looking at obtaining a 3.0L VQ30 from a 00-01 Maxima w/MT. First off, is this the DE or the DE-K? 222hp, right?

I was wondering if the shift linkage is rod or cable, clutch: cable or hyd. What versions came with LSD? and is it a 5 or 6 Speed gearbox?

Additionally, which models have throttle-by-wire.

VQ30DEK is the engine in the 00-01 Maxima (222hp)
DE is in the -99
they are both 3.0L

shift linkage is a rod (cable in 02+ 6speed)
clutch is hydraulic
HLSD only came in the 2001 "Anniversary Edition" models.
5speed manual (6speed is the 02+ VQ35)

the VQ30DEK is a cable throttle. Drive-by-wire is in the 02+ VQ35.

 

VLSD came in 01 AE 5MT's, HLSD wasn't available until the 02 6MT model year.

AE models are said to have 227 hp.

 

222hp......

 

hmmm, so it's nearly impossible to get LSD? Are there any aftermarket options?

I dont understand why you want a VQ30DE K if your car already comes w/ the VQ30DE... when you can just put the 00-01 Intake Manifold on your car or better yet do a VQ35DE swap
