Convert to Daytime running lights

I own a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE. Anyone ever convert theirs to use daytime running lights? Any idea what is involved? Cost? Thanks.

why would you want to do this?
it would be easier just to turn your headlights on when you get in the car.

I might be shipping it to Canada where daytime running lights are required. Just wondering if this is an easy change or do the whole headlight units have to be replaced.

I believe this swap might involve putting in a fuse in the spot for the DRL's in the fuse box in the engine bay compartment. US spec Maximas have a place for this fuse to plug it in. That's one thing you will need. Not sure what else is involved in terms or wiring etc. Proabably talking to someone at a dealer in Canada would steer you in the right direction unless someone else has the solution to this.
