I bought my 02 GLE November '06 and purchased the Nissan Extended warranty through the dealer. It cost around $1750 for the extended warranty (36mo/100K). 1 month later, the BOSE head unit developed the left channel cut-out problem in the TSB. I easily earned that back getting the head unit replaced - the service invoice listed the BOSE head unit at $1995! And then there are things like heated steering wheel, 6-way power heated seats & a moonroof that can really rack up a bill....something to think about.

Wow what a rip off price you think thats the actual price they pay for that ****. Did you pay that or did they cover that?

I have the 10 year 100k mile warranty from nissan as well, and I've had my BOSE replaced twice already so I know what you mean. But I was saying that this particular car he was buying was out of nissan's bumper to bumper warranty and unless he bought a warranty with the car, he would either have to deal with the crappy bose (which i've done for several months) or get an aftermarket stereo.

Good choice. I drove one and that and the Mazdaspeed3 would be the only FWD cars I would buy anymore.

well when i was at the dealer, i drove an 05 Altima SE 5spd, 05 Mazda 6 V6 5spd, and a 07 Altima SE 6spd, and the 07 was incredible. every gear had a nice a$s power band. and the torque steer wasnt as bad as in the 05. if the dealer down the street from me can either match, or beat the offer i was given at the other dealer, Ill be rolling an 07 SE 6spd by the weekend

I looked at the suspension components while I was at the dealer today, and holy crap!! No WONDER the frame feels so strong. They've got 1' wide (as in from left to right) metal supports on either side of the LCA's that bolt up just about where the LTB does. The RSB looked really thick, and of course IRS =

That's an awesome car. I wish I could have walked away with the white 6-speed I test drove
