Fixed... HKS does not make a Cat-Back for our maxima, only the muffler.

Well, after doing alot of research and reading alot of reviews, Im down to choosing between the following setups:

Kyb-Gr2 shocks/struts with Vogtland Springs (-1.4" drop, all way around) - $411 bucks

Kyb-Gr2's with Eibach Springs (-1.3 drop in front, 1.0 in rear) - $475

Tokico Illuminas with Vogtland Springs - $662

So now my question is....

Which is likely to perform better under heavy cornering and/or straight-aways (good combo of both)......the 1.3 inch drop in the front with a 1.0 in the back (eibach), or a 1.4 inch drop all the way around (vogtland)?

Also, I threw in the Tokico illuminas in case I couldnt decide between the two above.....since they are adjustable, I figured I could keep the "flat" ride when I wanted it, and the aggressive feel when I decided to do that....

Just not sure if i wanna go that route, since its a 190-250 dollar difference...

Any info would be much appreciated!

Also, Here are some very helpful links, that have helped me along the way...

In case anyone's interested, I got a chance to talk to Brian today (Cattman) and ordered a RSB for 143.01, shipping included....

A great deal if anyone's interested...

Also, he gave me a few updates on the headers he currently has, and the ones they are currently "workin on"....From what I understood, he only has about 4 orders left, which happened to be backorders left over from those who didnt recieve them from last year...

He mentioned they currently "have in the works" a new set of headers, coming out asap!

I reminded him it was tax season, and he'd make a killin if he put the new ones on the market...lol

Stay tuned....

The drop has little to do with handling (unless you've slammed the car). You should be considering the spring rates and characteristics (linear vs progressive).

The adjustability is in the compression and rebound rate of the shocks/struts, not the height, as you've implied.

I dont know how accurate the hotshot website is but when i last visited it quoted their headers at 550? Mr. Catts seems like a reasonable respectable maxima enthusiast and i know now that HS is out he should and can charge more for his header and i honestly dont mind paying 799$ for headers considering the hp gained and all that jazz but i was wondering if there is really that much of a difference in the cattman vs. HS setup? From what ive seen in the dyno threads they seem to give similar gains? Mr. Catts said the next batch of 50 should arrive late this week and be shipped by the end of the week....has anybody ordered off of this latest batch and what did you pay? I hate to sound so cheap and dont mean to bad mouth Mr. Catts because from what ive read hes got a pretty good rep and seems to offer quality products for our cars but being a college student and comparing them to HS, $250 is almost a months rent for me and really goes a long way while in school. I know ill be happy w/ them even if i have to drop 1G, i was just hoping someone out there has some helpful info for me. Thanks yall.

Brian also said he has 4 backorders leftover from the last batch.....
