Headlight Aiming Prob

Hey guys I read all the posts and how tos, and I turned the little white plastic thing clockwise because my lights are too low and I out drive them, and theres hardly a difference with the High beams (silverstars). I can turn the plastic **** with my hand, it feels really light like it isnt doing anything and the light angle doesnt change at all, what gives?

Not sure, but my lights are too low also. I need to adjust them in the spring. So it's clockwise to aim them higher eh?

Think of it like a bolt. If you turn in clockwise to tighten it... it lowers the beam. If you turn it counterclockwise it will raise the beam.

sounds like the bolt might be cracked you shouldnt be able to turn it with your fingers

I was doing it at night, but like 2 feet away from the wall I thought it would be easier to tell. They are lower now, I can only see like 10 feet in from of the car at night. I started turning them with a ratchet, but they are both really easy to turn with fingers now

misiek is right, i prolly broke both of them... any ideas on what to do now?

Thanks for the info coolmax, i printed that out when I did it but i didnt go 20 from the wall

I thought it was clockwise to make them go up?

That's what I was thinking. Since the screw gets threaded in and thus pushes the bottom of the lense outward?
