How can i program my FOB to unlock ALL doors with single push of a button? (instaed of pushing it once to unlcok drive door, then again for all doors) Is it do-able? Its a simple change on the murano Screen, and I got used to that, its nice... I'm sure there is a way.. ANYONE??

it's that hard to click it twice?

Anything is possible if you have the circuitry knowledge, but I haven't heard of anyone doing it....seems like alot of work for no real reason...

I'm sure its not a mod.. I'm sure there is a factory setting that you can disable and enable easily. I.E. making the horn chirp when you hit lock. you can enable it and disable it by holding down lock and unlock for like 5 secs.

You could call the dealer, but I doubt it's possible without a lot of effort/time/money or a combination of the 3.

I dont think its possible either. when you program the remote to the vehicle all your doing is making sure the frequency of the control module and the keyfob is the same. you would have to rewire the control module to get it to unlock all doors w/one push. what are we coming to when we cant push a button twice?

I've read other forums where they said the dealer can program it so I know its possible. When I went to a dealer in St. Louis they were clueless and claimed it was programed that way for safety purposes so no one would sneak into your vehicle when you unlocked your doors.

FWIW, when I worked at a Toyota dealer years ago, we had a customer who was complaining that her doors all unlocked with one push of the button. It took a while, but eventually we found a scotch-lok connecting two wires behind the driver's door panel. When the unlock signal went to the driver's door it was also re-directed to the other doors. I am sure with a wiring diagram you could figure out how to do something similar. Of course, we never figured out who did it or why, we figured someone on the assembly line was f'n around.

I believe I read the same thing here a number of years ago. Someone posted a list of Easter egg features that the dealer can program.

I just hold the open button down until all the doors unlock. Takes about 3 seconds on my 2000.

You can't do that on a 5.5 gen because it will cause the front windows to roll down and still only the drive door will be unlocked.

On most of the newer Nissan keyfobs, if you hold unlock + lock for more than 5 seconds, it will switch to audible lock (horn will beep when locked). Do it again, and it will switch to unaudible lock. (lights will only flash, and unlock will show any signs)
