bleeder valve???

bleeder valve???

Well I just had to replace the stock radiator on the 2002 GLE @ 95k and I was just wondering if theres a bleeder valve for it??? Thanks

yes...its on the driver side where to rubber hose connects to the metal tubing that leads to the engine block

its hard to see in this pic but its on the metal piece that the rubber hose connects to. look for a nut in the metal tube.

For the exact location of the bleeder valve, trace backwards where the upper radiator hose connects to the block. Going towards the rear of the engine, there is a dome like structure (it is actually a valve assembly) and right on top of it is a 10mm screw, that is the bleeder valve. On that dome like structure is is clearly written "Don't open when hot".

soonerfan: I must say good dramatization of the location of the bleeder valve, good job. If that is a shot of ur engine, wow, your engine looks very clean.

its actually different on the 3.5. i knew where it was on my 3.0 but realized its in a different place.
i build powerpoint slides for a living...that was easy
