Groaning Sound Turning Left At Slow Speed - Opinions

2000 GLE, 93k Miles will make a low groan when turning the steering wheel 1/2 to 3/4 to the left when the outside temperature is cold. It makes no sound turning right.

It doesn't really go away after driving for a while and I can't hear it at higher speeds mainly because engine and road noise are higher.

The car has new belts and plenty of newly replaced power steering fluid.

It's not loud enough to really bug me, nor do I feel anything through the steering wheel, so I'm not going to worry much about it now.

I'm guessing a steering component issue, or maybe drivetrain problem, but I'd some opinions or ideas on what it might be.

Thanks
