I am not taking orders until I have the product in stock and ready to be shipped.

The price has been set at $225 plus $8.00 shipping. I tried my best to stay around $200, but a few little issues came up and it raised the cost to cut these spacers.

As soon as I am ready to take orders, I will add the product and full details on my website and you can order straight from there via Paypal.

Thank you for being patient!

Edit: Just to let everybody know, for the first batch or two, I will only be selling the full kits. That is due to my machinist filling my orders to accomodate a set number of kits. After things slow down a little, I will be able to customize the number of spacers that I need to cut in order to make different staged kits.

Just thinking out loud here about the $ per HP ratio;
That equates to $22.5 per HP.
That ratio is about the same as Cattman Header's $/hp.

Yes, but where does the excess heat go; if it doesn't soak through the components above the heads...?

Aaron, could you please include shipping details to Canada as well (i.e. cost and shipping company)? I am a VERY interested Canadian member and I suspect there will be a few us. And I am not sure if you have a commitment to any shipping company or not, but UPS is very hard on Canadians in terms of brokerage & handling fees on items coming to Canada from the US.

Thanks very much!

Through the radiator via the engine coolant.

Then that means you should be able to register this influx of temperature via the ECU coolant reading?

Exactly! As you can see the average temperatures of the heads after the spacers were installed did not rise at all. I don't consider 1 degree, a consistantly measurable amount.

Thank you for that feedback. I have not dealt with many packages going TO Canada. But I appreciate letting me know about your problems with UPS packages.

I plan to try Global Express with the United States Postal Service. That only takes 3-5 days to arrive and should only cost $20. I plan on getting as set ASATA, and I will confirm monitor this parameter as well.

No. The thermostat would just open up sooner if anything.

I have an Actron 9145 and plan to do the same.

Aaron, I am wondering if during your testing you checked this value?

No, because the air flowing through your stock radiator instantly cools the coolant down considerably. If you are at a stand still, then yes, it's possible you could see a small rise in coolant temperature. But I doubt anybody will be able to prove that with simple testing. And as soon as the cooling fans kick on, any rise in temperature will be completely gone when the radiator gets airflow.

I wouldn't mind if somebody does a fair before and after test with their stock coolant temp reading. You can get an infrared pyrometer and make sure the intake manifold surface temps have stopped rising. This can take over 30 minutes of constant idling in order to get the motor that hot. It will be easy in the summertime though. This will allow for a consistant before and after test. If you record the coolant temps when the intake manifolds are still heating up, then it won't be as accurate.

Did I record the coolant temps during my testing? I did on my VE since I have a coolant temp gauge. I have all those numbers for the VE30DE. But on the 2002 Maxima, I had no way to record his coolant temperatures while testing.

Would this yield more high end gains with a WAI? just wondering, because it seems like mid and low end torque are good for more normal driving, but when you "race" or whatever, i would think that you rarely see an rpm lower than 4500-5000 other than initially when getting into that rpm range, and these dont seem to make significant gains up top.
Just wondering
BTW numbers and charts look really good. thanks for the continued effort!

the gains would be the same...it would keep the air more cool. you would still be getting warmer air but it wouldnt be warmed up more on its way into the cylinder

im so ready for this set. i wonder what kind of gains can be made with the spacers and a/f tuning. thinking about gettin an safc neo to do some a/f tuning, getting the spacers and get all of that and dyno'd all at the same time.

Would this effect the AFR enough to retune?

What is your opinion on my logic as to the benefit of these things when "racing". I just dont really remember a time when i am going all (probably when you would want the extra power that these give) out (in a relitively straight line too, i might add) that i let the rpm drop much below 4500 at the lowest. Given this it seems less valuable to me than say maybe a serious autoxer like yourself, where i assume you use more of a varied rpm range, including, but not limited to mid range.

Ok, I think we should stop bombarding the poor fella and just take it for what it's worth. A great product for a great price with unbiased, proven results.

Those of us who are going to do other logging/data capture, so be it. And the other questions, well, if and when you install these, see if it DOES need a retune, see if it DOES work better w/ a WAI, etc. All these are unknowns until someone tries. But there is one thing that is known, and that can be seen in the data provided.

I dont know if you misunderstood but my question you quoted was directed towards sooner, not aaron92 if that makes any difference.
Like Law said, i am only trying to find out if this product is worth the money for me personally. Thats not to say it isnt a great product or well worth the money.

this product will be good for any kind of driving.
the RMPs or driving style dont matter...the engine will always be cooler.

I have a wideband o2 sensor installed in my 92 Maxima VE30DE. I did a lot of before and after testing and did not notice ANY change to my AFR. So I highly doubt that the spacers will alter the AFR in the 3.5L.

My goal is to have the first batch available for sale by the end of April. Then after I make a few sales, which should be the first day they are released, I will have another batch made immediately to minimize backorder status as much as possible.

Once sales slow down a little, I should be able to never go in backorder of inventory ever again. I want my customers to be able to pay and then get the spacers 2-3 days later! If I receive payment early enough, I will ship the same day!

I know how it is when you pay for a new mod and you're all excited, then you have to wait 3-5 days before it's even shipped! Then they ship it via ground and it takes another 5-7 days to arrive! When I buy something, I want it here the same week, even if you are located on the other side of the country! That's what I strive to do with all my products, even if it's parts from my parts car.

You guys will not be disappointed with my customer service! If anybody does run into any problems, I will always fix it in a timely manner.

In my experience, USPS GEM is an EXCELLENT way to ship to Canada if the cost is reasonable. You are right in that USPS parcel post can take a VERY long time.

I can't wait! Thank you for keeping us Canadians in mind, few as we may be!

Do you think these would make a difference coupled with the kinetixs intake collector? Their design is a one piece collector/elbow in stainless. It still uses the stock intake manifold but replaces everything else to the throttle body.

That is something nobody will know until they test it. But, keep in mind that by having these spacers, the Kinetix IM will stay much cooler, which always helps.

Also on a car with egr, could you just block off the egr? I noticed you made block off kits for other years or would it cause a CEL?
