"Y" pipes

Now that the flex joint is leakingon the OE y-pipe I'm looking at the alternitives. Bang for the buck it looks as though the Warpspeed is the way to go. The Cattman, after the $ exchange and shipping to the Great White North, gets a bit pricey. I still have my connections at the dealer I worked for and the Warpspeed will still come under what the OE would cost me. Is the Cattman worth the extra $? Personally, the Warpspeed collector construction looks as though it would hold up longer and flow better.

Could I please get some imput from those of you who have traveled this road?
Yes, I did search the posts, the Vendor posts and looked at Warpspeeds EBay feedback. I could not find any inquirery on this question.

Thank you in advance for your positive/constructive feed back. I did not start this thread to get flamed.

Good Day

I'm not even sure what the sig. diffs. are offhand, but personally prefer Cattman for his reputation, product quality, customer service, .org ties, etc; don't know enough about Warpspeed to make a judgement.

Thank's for the link, CoolMax. I could only go back 12 pages, not far enough to find this one.

I had the WarpSpeed y-pipe. No fitment issues and sounded GREAT. I sold it to buy headers but instead my wife used the money to buy curtains or shoes.

Thanx-the Warpspeed fits my budget better. I can relate to the wife issue.

One thing to note is that people with 02-03s risk fitment issues with Warpspeed y-pipes. I know it doesn't apply to everyone, but there have been issues. With the Cattman however, there haven't been any or many fitment issues. I had a Cattman y-pipe and it fit flawlessly. It was also stainless, which is always a plus if you live up north.

I would not consider anything but Stainless, don't want to have to get under the Max anymore than nessecary. It's more fun to be in the driver's seat. Then when the rear exhaust goes it will be time to upgrade it.

i got the warpspeed great fitment and just a little sound good performance gains. warpspeed also has a stainless version for 250 a 100 cheaper than the catman. i went with the aluminized great quality not as pretty though. i they also have a b-pipe for the 00-01. i figured for the same price as the cattman i got the y-pipe and the b-pipe.
