I Hate People!

I just got a call from my brother that my car was broken into!!

Nothing is missing I guess, I would not know since I am hundreds of miles from my car... They shattered my drivers window, prob unlocked it and set off the alarm and took off.

Now to the question... Dealer for glass or can those drive to you services take care of it easily? If they can, anyone have experiance with them?

I kinda feel like going to the dealer... but the other service would be easier.

Damn, what a night! I just dropped $1,800 on a mattress ( ) then I get home to this call.

Damn that sucks. There are places that come to you and fix your glass. My dad had his front windshield replaced and they drove to us to replace it.

^^ yea they should come to you and replace it in your driveway. had to have our rear windshield replace when we were out of state on a family vacation and it was very little hassle.

Sorry to hear about the break in. If nothing of value was visible inside the car, then maybe they were planning to steal the car or some young punks wanted to go on a joy ride. Just a thought. Hope everything works out.

I have a garage I can put it in... I have just been really lazy this winter and have to clean out the spot for it...

I will be this weekend though.

I am having Safelite Autoglass come and replace the window at the house on tuesday.

Thats the crappy part... It was in Upstate New York.

I left the car Upstate when I moved to NYC because I did not want to bring it down to NYC and have it get broken into and beat up.

I had my 92 Maxima broken into 2 weeks ago. They shattered same thing happened to me, they took off after they heard the alarm. They were going after my GPS (even though only the harness was on my windshield but I had the actual unit inside with me). I live in NY, Long Island and it cost me $140 to get the drivers side rear small window replaced.
