need help removing spoiler

I just bought a carbon fiber trunk lid and it is already drilled out for a spoiler. Iwas wondering how do you remove the stock spoiler from the stock trunk lid? I removed 2 10mm bolts already i just dont want to start yanking on it.

it is secured using the bolts (on both sides and the middle) and 3M double sided tape.

no its not my idea. I just bought a used cf trunk lid and it is drilled out for a spoiler. I'd rather have just a cf lid with no spoiler. but what I was going to do is put the cf lid on and put the stock spoiler on for now because there are holes on the cf lid. I dont want water to get in. and then order a cf oem spoiler. but since i cant get the stock spoiler off im just going to leave the stock spoiler on the stock trunk lid because i dont want to mess it up. I covered the holes on the cf lid. and when i get the cf spoiler in i'll install that. im selling the stock lid and spoiler. the guy i bought the cf lid from had a stock spoiler on the cf lid

Your spoiler is also clipped in as well as sealed with 3M tape. I had a hell of a time getting my spoiler off.

You need to cut the 3M tape first. Get some fishing line and cut away. Then take a flat head screw driver and a cloth. Wedge in between the lid and spoiler and pop it out. Standing on the side of your car you'll place the screw driver in the middle of the side. IF that makes sense to ya. Be careful but put some pressure going up and it'll pop out.

just stick with the non spoiler look.

and if you got the ionic dynamic trunk get ready for some F'ed up fitment, unless you remove the tension bars in the trunk, that's why i got rid of mine ****, and opted to have a local company make mine so it'd would be perfect.

oo and for your question, just yank reallllllly hard!

I cant stick to the non spoiler look because if you read above the used carbon fiber trunk lid that I bought is already drilled out for a spoiler. Also the ionic dynamic trunk lid that I have fits perfect. I didnt have to remove the tension rods.
