battery problems

I have not driven my maxima in about a month and decided to drive it this weekend. It did not start due to a dead battery (optima red top)so I used a small jump box to try and start it. The headlights and interior lights came on with the jump box but the car would not turn over. I was guessing it probably needed to get charger from another running car so I decided to jump it with my company car. I hooked up the jumper cables and tried to start my maxima but now I got nothing at all no headlight no interior lights which I thought was strange. After looking at the jumper cables again, I realized I hooked up the positive cable to the negative terminal and vice versa like a retard. Now the car won't start at all. Did I blow my starter or did I just blow a fuse. If it is just a fuse does anybody know where the fuse is so I can replace it. Thank you for the help guys.

They told us at school (Auto Electrical professor) that if u reverse hookup you could blow all your computers etc. I prey it is fine bud seriously. All jokes aside.

check the alternator sounds like the battery is not getign charged while on start if you took it off and bring it to autozone they'll check it for you and i would recomend if its F****d up overhaul it much cheaper than buying a new one and better than buying a used one

That's just the main fuse...
Nothing wouldn't work if that would be out

If you're not getting power to anything else, I'm guessing that it's the fusable link at the battery.
