i dont like the light output i dont like how the angel eyes dont work i dont like how hey fit and i dont like the way the plastic is corroding around the running lights. but i love the black houseing that is about it. i want to match the tails that is why i was looking at black. i took the projectors off a car that my buddy was working on at a nissan dealer and pu mine on that car at the time it was the right thing to do but you live and learn. thanks for the replies by the way

I would shop your local junkyard since there a lot of 5th gens out there. It takes about 30 minutes of actually work to convert from a clear housing to black. There are also a couple witeups on here on how to do it. It also isnt that big of deal if they are a little pitted, scratched, or hazy. This can be cure by a 15 minute wet sand. I am just suggesting this for two reasons. One it is an easy DITY and it is a cheap route since you said you were in a pinch in the money department.
