Sell or Supercharge

I have been thinking of selling the max for a little over 6 months. My A/C just stopped working and I have started to look for some alternatives. I was thinking of a couple of options. I could sell the Max and get something around 18-23k, do an engine swap, or Supercharge/turbo charge. I was thinking about possibly getting a loaded 2003 max for around 16k but I am not sure. I need some input b/c I just cant make up my mind. My Max has 113k miles and I think I would get around 7k or 8k(maybe). I have full suspension so I could transfer that to the new max(2003).

What are you gonna say to someone that just bought a BMW. Oh let's not get into M engines. 1 litre every 1000K. Ouch and to top it off they run special oil bought only from BMW at $14 a pop.

350Z has much more aftermarket support than the Max... Your suspension will not swap over, but you can sell it here on the org and put that toward a new one for the Z.

If you move to a 5.5, I'll take your Place Racing CAI. If you decide to keep it then you'll have to modify it like Irish did.

I think the 2001 exterra has the same 3.0 engine as my 01 maxima but you can get it with a supercharger. So I was thinking that it might be cost efficient to bolt on the supercharger from the exterra. It seems to me that if nissan puts that supercharger on that motor in factory it would be easy to set it up in the maxima. Obviously it wouldnt give me as much hp as an aftermarket supercharger but maybe it would save me money on installation and making the motor supercharger worthy.
Any intelligent thoughs or advice would be appreciated!

18-23k will buy you a mighty fast super clean E36 M3 (one of my all time favourite cars)

The Skyline is the "poor man's Porsche" in Europe. I think deep down inside the Maxima is the "poor" man's BMW in North America.

I have been leaning towards a 2004-2005 GTO or a 2004 mustang cobra. The bad thing is that i dont trust american cars. What have you guys heard about the newer GOAT. The main reason i like it is b/c it has 400hp (i know it only gets 340 to the ground) and the fact thet it has a back seat unlike the Z. The G35 is a little out of my price range because i want low miles on what ever i buy (<30k miles). I have been looking for a Z but I have only looked online. do you guys know of any good deals goind on.
