Not worth the install, especially on the 3.5.

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't buy anything else other than cattman or HS.

Also if you want cheap get a civic.

The headers for the 3.5 altima they sell dont look too bad, looks like an equal length design, unlike the maxima design which is basically a typical y-pipe with "shorty" headers.

Search the web about SS Autochrome. There are a lot of negative things about the quality of their products. Check them out for your self though. I'm pretty sure someone here tried these a year or so ago and they showed no gains at all.

buy headers (and other mods) from a reputable company that specializes is products for the maxima. these companies actually do R&D using a maxima so the fit is better.

it is cheap but the web site seems legit, its not like ebay. but yeah cattman or HS if you want real HP gains, they look like knock offs or something, its too cheap to be true. u wanna be the brave one and find out if they are good headers?

Look at the picture of those headers shown in that website, then look at this thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=512293

I think you can gather all the info needed that way...go Cattman or go home

IMO the new ones look like a pretty good design and would be a good choice for a budget mind. I don't really like the fact that they don't have an equal length y-pipe, though

yeah i was thinking the same thing... but the fact that the inner diamater is smaller than stock turns me away from them :/

yeah sucks the OBX arent equal length and have a slightly smaller diameter but on a 3.5 i think they would have a good gain for 300 bucks. The new design looks 10x better than the first design. So does anyone know if these will fit 02-03? i know the headers have EGR but is that the only difference?
