Whenever i put the max in reverse it tend to idle really rough, a mild amount of vibration, basically noticable. Any ideas what could be causing this??

 

any CEL on?,.... i would have to lean towards you have a coil that is crapping out,....sayin this cuz i know when i had one that was bad.. the slight RPM drop in the tranny from reverse.. would make the misfire more noticable.. or a longshot motor mounts or w/e.. theres es's website but im sure you know about it already...

no lights or anything on, a coil?? i replaced them with the updated ones too.. freakin a....

 

well if theres no light on and you have a misfire thats weird,... maybe go to autozone and see if there is something stored in the ECU ? ,.. otherwise could be a coil,.. does the car drive normal? accelerate normal? MPG the same? and really only in reverse you get it? what about idleing at a stoplight or something?

i could be totally wrong on the coil..cuz when mine did that exact same thing i had a code 1320 or w/e plus the code for which coil.. so maybe someone else will chime in with some more advice for ya,..

EDiIT: any work done recently? u ever change the MAF ?

 

I thinking motor mounts as well.

 

MPG has gone down, esp since i've lighten the load on my car (sound system), accelerate is normal i guess, this only happens in reverse, idel in drive is perfectly fine. i had the 1320 a while back, that's when i replaced all my coils. No work recently, and i've never changed my MAF

How hard is it to replace mortor mounts?
