Underbody Neons

Does anyone have any underbody neons on their ride? If so, what did you guys mount the light with? (ex. double sided tape, screws, zip ties, gum...) And for those who have them, approximately where did you put them so they won't get damaged by speed bumps, jacks, or car lifts?

First off, you might want to look both ways before you cross the street. I'm not using the neon lights like you think, my non-open-minded friend. What I plan to do is to wire it up to my dome light so whenever i unlock my doors using my keyless remote the lights would be activated so the car would be lit when i'm getting in and the lights would turn off once my doors are locked. Thought people here are supposed to help each other, not to be judgemental and act like an ***.

Ill give a positive responce. since everyone's tastes are different (as you can see by the non-productive responces above) I do not have these, but if your looking, I would suggest maybe an LED set up. It wont look good on our cars because the side skirts aren't low enough to hide the lights, you will see the tubes. but I would look for a company that provides a lifetime warrantee on there product, also, a protective case around the lights. Good luck.

You would have received much less burns from the flames on this thread if you had explained the reason for your question in the title or the post itself, but I'm sure you know that now.

Although I'm going to agree that neons are uber-ricey......

.....it is a matter of personal preference, and the guy did ask a valid question, even using good grammar and spelling....

Now, if he had said "YO I WANT ME SUM NEON GLOW HOW CAN I PIMP THEM NOT GETIN BROKE?" I would have agreed with the flaming......

But he didn't....so I'm going to have to go on record saying that the initial flaming was unwarranted in this case. I'm not surprised that he got defensive, though he was stupid to make that comment....

(I can't believe I just said that, but I speak only the truth...)

You should probably ban yourselves for jumping this dude. He didn't ask your opinion, just wanted to get some info on where to place it. Although, I don't know why one would come to a forum to get answers! Typical...

None the less man... the only thing I could tell you is tuck it a little deeper. Or, like bugbite said... do an led set up I think that would be straight.

so people can only get flamed if you feel their grammar and spelling is wrong?

still....From the updated 5th gen rules/regs thread:

13) Smart-aleck or Sarcastic answers to technical or repetitive questions will not be tolerated.
I hate neon threads....but they're not nearly as common as intake/exhaust threads.

Just saying....he asked the question normally, and though a lame subject, still valid in a car forum......

I prefer the alternate way of getting rid of stupid threads: Answer simple questions quickly with a simple answer, and them have a mod lock them up.

/thread.

I completely agree... All he asked for was information. But, he shouldn't say anything that could be seen as being offensive to keep himself from getting the ultimate punishment...

No offence but that's exactly why so many people here don't like you. You manage to mess everyone up for others while keeping you own hands clean.

im cool with the people that matter. the people that dont like me, dislike me because im honest with them and it hurts their feelings.
i do keep my hands clean...if others break the rules, that is on them. i didnt make them do anything.

i get along with the people that agree that there are way to many stupid threads about stupid topics.
there is no need for these threads when they can search.
is it easier to just answer them...maybe. but then you teach them that its ok to be lazy. i refuse to spoonfeed people. i wish more people agreed.
