The car is not really even 3 weeks old and there is already a couple paint chips on the middle of the hood. I know I'm whining...it just...it sux. I was hoping the 'newness' would stick around awhile longer.

I guess the first one is bound to hurt the most eh?

Anyways, I'm now forced to do the whole touch-up paint thing. Does this stuff really work well or what?

It's bound to happen, and it does hurt when it does. But all of us have them, and there really isn't much you can do to stop it. Touch up paint can fix things. Check this link out for a full procedure on repairing chips:
