problem w/hood

ok so a few weeks ago someone tried to steal my headlights..they got my hood open but for whatever reason they didnt get the lights...all they did was break my windshield wiper fluid tank..i guess it was in their way..and they took the covers off the back of the lights where the ballast is...and took the neg terminal off my battery(to kill the alarm)...when i got to my car the hood was closed half way...so i just closed it and drove home....the problem is that now i cant get the hood open...i dont know what they did to get it open...they obviously broke it....is there any way i can get it open w/out any damage...do i haveto bring it to a locksmith or something??..if anyone knows how to help open the hood can you please pm me and let me know.thanks.

Sorry Dude, At leaset still have your lights.

Hood release cable is a lot cheeper then new head lights.

Anyhow, you need to see if you can "See" the hood release cable threw the grill...I bet the A$$holes cut it. If you find it you can pull it on the (latch side) with long plyers to make it pop.

It that does not work try and look at the latch (again threw the grill) and see if you can use a wire coat hanger (Stiff one) to pull the latch and make the hood pop up so you can reach in and use the second release.
