Suspension travel is <2 inches. Bottoming out often.

Had the car on ramps, and noticed how little suspension travel there is. A year ago , the car did not bottom out as often as it does now. So I measured the amount of suspension travel left and it was less than 2 inches. Is that abnormal with H&R? What is usually the factory suspension travel? When I set Illuminas to 4 or 5 it helps, but then there seems to be so much stress on the frame and body of the car.

where is it bottoming out? front/rear or both?

The springs themselves could be shot (lack of tension) or the struts losing some dampening ability.

The bottoming out is up front. Springs and struts were installed together about 2 years ago.
