Cobb access port

Cobb access port
I have a few friends with subarus, various types, and as many of you probably know, the Cobb Access Port is one of the more common tuning devices they use. i was over at a friends house looking at one of his cobb magazines and noticed that cobb says the access port is compatible with the maxima. i found that the connection under the dash is indeed the same kind and it looks like it would hook up correctly. since the access port doesnt need to be pluged in all the time, only when tuning, i was wondering if i could use my friends access port to dyno tune my car and then just give it back to him. Does anyone know anything about this, specific or general i dont care i am just curious.
Thanks

Also, would it do anything to dyno tune with the mods i have (basically only intake and axel back)? prob not much but even if its just like 5-10 whp ill take it cause i can get tuning for cheap.

there is no need to tune your car with your current mods...the ECU already took care of that.
tuning is more important on a boosted car (air/fuel, etc) which is why this is made for a WRX.
the plug is the same (it is on all cars) but im sure the software wouldnt be compatible with your car.

oh ok. yeah i know about the boosted tuning. My friends STi got tuned with it while we were there and the guys made almost 45-50 whp all the way from 2500 to redline! It was sick. He just has turbo back, iridium plugs one step colder, intake, APS intercooler. FI is so unfair, i'm jealous
