229whp corrected is low...did you get it tuned while when they dynoed?

or maybe its the ebay catback thats holding you back

I see some peoples dyno says .96, mine say .94 corrected. I dnt get this dyno crap. lol

Could it be a clutch that is holding me back?

It has slipped on me a few times recently. Especially first second, and a few weeks ago it slipped in 5th gear at about 5k.

My car has been taking a beating.

Is it possible for the clutch the give out alittle throughout my entire run?

I also had some maf problems before but seemed to go away from just cleaning it........

if your clutch is bad then your dyno will look very weird...and you will be able to tell its slipping while watching and hearing your car dynoing

maybe its your air fuel ratio...did you get it tuned or did they just dyno it?

nope they tunned it, only got a 3-4hp after the tunning, cause i was already tunned and leaned out before the exhaust.

What did they tune for, and how did the AFR curve look? In order to extract power from these things, the AFR curve must be as flat as possible. Any change in the AFR and the ECU changes other items which in affect hurt power.

Do you have the runfiles? Seems as if you're in pretty good with with this shop, so getting your runfiles should be very easy.

Since you already have the SAFC, I strongly suggest doing this, http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...19&postcount=6
http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...52&postcount=9

and getting a wb o2 sensor so you don't get in trouble with it.

229whp seems pretty low then...u should be looking into the upper 230s and 240 range with full bolt ons and tuning...

Do a WOT run using peak hold, and see what the % is.

Also, make sure the throttle position and Afl signals are close together during every day driving.

What % does it idle @?

Ill post up my run files as I get them, will you guys be able tell if my clutch was slipping by looking at the curve??

It sliped on me bad again today when I hit 5th ....

O and btw, after reading I notcied guys dynoed in 4th, I did 3rd.... Could that have anything to do with it?

Nmexmax, he flatned the curve out as much as possible. I hope that included i nthe run file. He couldnt realy get to much more Hp from it but he flatned it out alot throught the entire rpm range.

Just bought an '02 myself, love that video of you smoking a 'stang. Little worried about all that I'm reading about oil consumption though, and when you were coming off the revs in that parkinglot in the video looked like it was chucking oil pretty good. Have you been losing some?

I'll post it later. Don't have my runfiles here.. . Looks like they're nearly identical, but I then show more power from 5100 - 5700, and my peak at the time, (233) as @ 5600.
