You shouldnt need hood pins with the VIS hood.

I've heard I shouldn't, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I have seen the fitment, looks great, but hearing one story of a hood coming up towards the windshield (non-VIS, just a CF hood) is enough for me to take the extra step.

I have hood pins as a primary source to hold my hood down. my latch is disconnected
