Don't you have a system? Won't the udp drain too mcuh electrical power? I could be wrong, i dunno...very tired...

nope....no system here... The UDP does not underdrive too much anyhow. Most of the savings over the stock pulley come from weight reduction. Plus, from what I hear the UDP will be ok for systems upwards of a ~400 or 500 watts anyways. For higher wattage systems, you can add a capacitor...

I'm very tempted to order the UDP.. however, I do have a system in the car with a 1000 watt RF amp driving two 12's, and a second 250 watt amp driving the inside speakers... I do have a 1 farad cap on the sub amp.. but I'm still a little skeptical..
I love my engine power.. but I spend more time enjoying cruising with the system pumping...

A 1 farad cap is HUGE. That should help out a lot. If you are still concerned, try and contact Unorthodox Racing and see what they say. You are pushing a lot of wattage there.....but the UDP deal is pretty good

I just ordered today too!

I hope we get the 40 orders to get the extra $10 off, although that seems like a lot to hope for in such a short time.

I knew I could count on you to send subliminal messages.

Actually you should have a 1 f cap for every 1000watts, and I had 1800 watts in my Sentra for a short period with 2 1 farad caps. It hit so hard, that the car actually all the lights and idle dimmed. But, I didn't turn it up near that loud for normal driving so it was fine.....

tdogg - get it, that's a great deal! Wished I would have waited for something like this before I bought mine and spent waaayyy more than this!

UMD - you'll like the pulley, get a b pipe next, you really only need replace the pipe section with the big crimp between the main cat and the resonator and you'll feel a real difference

Thanks for the info....I was just thinking in the pure electronics sense. 1 Farad is a really large amount of capacitance. But, I see how you will need more than that for such huge wattages...

Yeah, I was thinking about doing a b-pipe also. The UDP deal is great so I had to get it now. I want to keep the stock muffler most likely because I am not looking for a loud car. Now, the question is whether I go for a custom mandrel bent b-pipe or wait for one made by Stillen/Cattman/etc...
