Aftermarket Rotors

I just picked up 19" rims wrapped in T1R's. Looking to now to get aftermarket (crossdrilled) rotors to complete the look.

im looking at:

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BPSPTROTR01&c=BR

Any one have experiance with this product? My first choice is the brembo's cross drilled but currently nothing is offered for the fronts, only rears.

Any one have any suggestions.

Thank you CoolMax....I think

This has to be the angriest forum on the web. Such resentment.

^^yea thats what im running...powerslots have the brembo log etched into the side of them as well...But overall I like them, and THEY DONT RUST LIKE THE STANDARD brembo blanks or the CRAPPY OEM rotors..they are approx 90 bucks a rotor for the regular ones and like 120 a pop for the cryo rotors.

I got mine from this site

www.autopartswarehouse.com

^^i like this site but some of the .org members have complained about their customer service being crappy....i agree with that, BUT ive never had a problem with them AND BESIDES I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IM GOING TO GET FROM THEM BEFORE I ORDER THEM....AND I HAVE THE REP CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK MY ORDER BEFORE ITS PROCESSED....but overall they have helped my braking solution as well as some other minor items

as long as I get my "violin playing smiley" in...

But i actually have a question since this was brought up. Would you recommend buying the brembo blanks and possibly slotting them at a local shop?

most cheaper slotted and/or drilled rotors arent good because it isnt the best material and they tend to crack after repeated use and getting hot.

our cars arent driver hard enough to need the cooling quality of slotted or drilled rotors. they cool off enough. i would get larger rotors...but not slotted or drilled.

yes...but it will weaken them.
the place that does it might not do it right (the depth). if you want slotted, buy rotors that are slotted properly by the company that made the rotors

aight...is there anyway to measure and make sure to exactly get them cut by a shop? Or..just screw it and stick to blanks because there is no way to make sure 100% the depth is the same for all of the slots??

i dont know what the depth should be. companies that make the rotors machine them properly. i would just get the blanks since i dont think slotted are beneficial on our cars.
