how long after the HS's did the front sensor last? I'm debating on moving mine too.

I am planning on putting the 02 in the collector. I will get a bung or something to plug the hole upstream, extend for the new, lower position. Hopefully it will keep the car running more ... normal. I want the 02 getting information off of all 3 cylinders on the bank, not just one.

I would run the current o2s for a few hundred miles, then put in new ones. I think the HS are coated, and this coating can sometimes screw with 02s when it is in the burn-in phase.

Interesting, I don't think mine fits that tight. Yes it is close but no where near cramping up like that. I'll try to get some pics ASAP.

I just put mine on Saturday. By Tuesday CEL came on... I saw your thread and i looked... Mine looks just like that!!

I used an O2-sim for my other 2 sensors in my front manifold... i was thinking about just buying another sim for this one and plugging the hole... Will that work. I got a quote of $100 to move it and weld in the new bung.
Its only $30 for an O2-sim... Will it work??

No it will not, you can't sim one of the primary o2 sensors since they help determine your fuel maps.
