Yellow Lexus Fogs

I know this has been talked about and I just want to make sure....

For the 03 maxima would I need the H3 Capsules or 9006 Capsules? Ive heard two answers and I just want the owners of these capsules to speak out. Thank you

9006

H3

the 9006 with the 3 prongs won't work... its too long and won't clear it wen it comes time to close it up with the glass... thats only for the 2002-2003

it will however work for the 00-01

The 9006 fits just fine behind the 00-01 fogs even under the chrome bulb shroud. As a matter of fact I have a set for sale allready installed in the 00-01 fogs if any one is intrested

They fit PERFECT in my 2000, now I am working on a set of 5.5's and they are WAY to long.

Most people I talked to that forced them in had them crack or the lens crack.

If the H3's fit better I would love to know. So I can try and get in touch with HIDtech again... They are sooooooo Sssssllllloooowwwww about answering emails.

I am currently running these on my 5.5 gen.

http://www.suvlights.com/index.php?cPath=43

They are just a bit too long, so the glass lens will teeter about a 1/4 inch, but I just used a crapload of a silicone sealant so that it would work. These capusles are also a lot cheaper than HIDtech, and you can order through website rather than email/paypal.

I've been running these for 5 months now with no problems.

WRONG!!!!! DONE IT. 9006 2k3 tight fit...but works.

and, you don't have to physically talked to HID tech...just send them 37$ bucks paypal and make it to Attn: Sean (Sales).

Heres the address : sales@hidtech.com

In the notes just designate what bulb you want and how many.

The bulbs are 30 bucks + 7 for shipping in lower 48 solid rate.

Many want to talk to HIDTech to find a better way to do them than cramming a fragile capsule into a foglight that loves crack already.

If you like to do things the right way... The 9006 capsule IS too long.

Is that all you do ALLLLLL DAY??? If you read the thread this link HAS already been posted.

Get off your soapbox retard.

This guy was looking for quick relevant information. Just because a thread has been talked about previously doesnt mean that there is more confirmations out there.

oh man... thanks irish44j for the comparison... that was the thread i couldnt find... so i guess people are getting 9006 even though its a tight fit.... does that mean the H3s wont work? or people just like using the 9006s?

if its so much trouble to get the capsules from HIDtech and Im not a big fan of just sending a paypal payment to sean when I dont even know if he will send them out or not......

i might just shoot redlinemax or get me a pair of luminix.....

thanks a lot!

Just an FYI for anyone that wants them.

I have a set of 9006 capsules I will sell for $38 shipped/picked up.

No waiting for HIDtech!

Shoot me a PM if you want them (paypal only, unless you bring cash for pickup).
