headlight condensation issue??

headlight condensation issue??

so i did the AE mod to my '00 max headlights...did a perfect job everything worked out as planned...the went back in with no gaps and i thought the seal was fine. we are havin a crazy noreaster here in jersey the day after i do them of course and my driver hadlight has condensation?? should i re-open them when the weather is nice and re-seal? maybe buy some extra sealant? and if so what kind...any suggestions...thanks again

I would like to know the same thing. My max has OEM lamps but still has condensation. How to fix?

i cleared my HIDs months ago and the drivers side started to leak BAD. there was water actually pooled up in the bottom. it poured out when i took it inside.
just got done fixing it. baked them and took the front and back apart. put more silicone in the grove and resealed. its raining now so i'll see if it sealed.

what kind of silicone did you use? i think thats what im going to do just need to know what kind...

I used DAP clear silicone sealant from home depot.

You can actually pick up the nice, thick, gooey stuff Nissan uses to seal up the headlights online... Forgot where, though.

i used the nissan stuff i got from the dealership.
it rained all afternoon and evening after i did it...this morning looks fine. i guess it finally worked!!
