Frankencar's exhaust uses a Mussa muffler and resonator, *if* you can source the same muffler, paired with any resonator and you'll have a Frankencar replica.

Fine I'll get a better video next time and I'll take my bb gun and shoot at the birds so that they are gone.

BTW, an intake or exhaust clip is better while driving since the sound is different under load.

do you have headers on the car? if not, the cattman to me is DEAD quiet. however, with headers on now, its a lot louder, but i like it. i know noise is subjective to everyone, so why not stay with the stock muffler? i would have, but mine rotted away at only 42K

how many miles on the car? i was kinda pissed that the stock muffler rotted away so quick, i guess the new job less than 2 miles from the house killed it..oh well. i did get the cattman on a g/d for $529 though

You've actually heard the Cattman w/o headers and the Frankencar w/ headers on my car now.

I think cattman rear section alone with nothing else is perfect. I made Joel drool and wish he kept it.

I don't like test pipes... They make the exhaust "pop" way to much and seem to make the exhaust more raspy.

Highflow cats seem to smooth out the tone much better.

Unless you take proper counter strikes against the popping rasp accordingly, it will rasp/pop. I have a test pipe w/o any popping. Nice and smooth.

But it isn't worth the money IMO. Test pipe around $20-$30 while Highflow $100+.

Price wise: Test pipe > Highflow.

Plus it saves my cat so when I need to smog stock cat goes back on. Plus there isn't really much benifit to a highflow so paying that price isn't worth it.

No, IMO, Cattman rear with no headers is perfect. With headers, I thought it was more than 10x louder, so I dumped it for a Frankencar rear, which is still quieter, even with headers, than a Cattman rear alone.

Can't beat the tone of the Cattman though, with or without headers, it just the volume and drone that got to me.

I know where you live, I will just come over one night and steal it back. Or maybe just take that silver Pathfinder that no one drives.

It is worth the money to me since I like the exhaust tone better. Why stop at $100 price difference after spending over $1,200 on the rest of the exhaust...

I found that even with a stock rear it was popping...

Well I don't see the point of spending money on a highflow when I can save some money and buy a test pipe that is still a good product. Plus that savings of $70-$80 can be put into buying other new parts.

Because... The exhaust tone is much smoother with much less exhaust popping...

Not really sure what is so hard to understand.

What do you mean by this? Countermeasures as in don't change your headers? Nmex do you have a clip?
