Umnitza Angel Eye Problem

I have one of the first generation Umnitza Angel Eyes for 2k3 HIDs.

One of the lights is no longer working, so i'm guess it burnt out.

Is my only opition really to take out the headlamp take it apart, and replace it?

Seems like a huge pain in the ***. Any1 got an exp with this?

It takes me about 30-45 mins to do a headlight job. It isn't that difficult.

Yea, I was hoping that wasn't the case. I am debating whether I want to fix it. I am planning to sell my car and I am trying to avoid putting in any extra wrench time.

I don't know how much one burnt out angel eye will reduce the value of the car.

yeah it doesn take that much time to do it. BUT you should just cut the other one then, its gonna look off, like having one parking light out...if i were you i'd just take it out and part it, im sure people need rings out there, then i'd be worth your time.

Yea, i just don't have the time nor the desire. I am in law school and I shortly realized that if I do have free time I enjoy much more doing something relaxing and not "work."

could also be ur ballast... before taking that off see if ur ballast is any good... i might have a spare on laying around... if u want to test it out and see if that is the problem... the umnitza ballasts are CRAP i've went throo 4 sets already and im just tired of their stuff and went another route in purchasing a different ballast and its much better and brighter at that...

yes i can be the ballast... i had the issue with the pass. side dde and one would come on and the other would... just take the good ballast and install it on the other side and try... or switch the wires around where the good dde wire attaches to the non working dde...

the vibelights are the ones i have... i have to see where the link for that is... give me a second

i already went through one umnitza ballast too...how long of you had these...I'll order them just to see if they are any better...both rings on the left side stopped working at the exact same time and i checked the connection so im guessing its the ballast...I didn't know we had another options, thanx for the link

We have completely revised our ballasts, they are putting out 75% more light, and they are potted and much better now.
