Russ is one of the Oooooglie mastas so I'm looking for your thoughts on this one. For all of us with painted calipers i wonder how matching the the tire air nozzle to the color of the caliper would look? Even if it was just the cap...that way if it doesn't work it is easy enough to replace the cap? I wonder if we can use the same paint as the calipers?

Hey PhatGuy

Weird callin' you that but anywho...Is that Ford Engine Block Blue? I saw your spray can but there were several colors of "Blue". I picked what I thought was closest.

To me, the nozzel even just the top would look a little funny, but that just my opinion. I think that the blue is pretty sharp the way it is! Plus I am not sure if the color would be dead one because you would be painting a black background unlike your caliper, which was a lighter color. Could be on the crack though....?

Oh if you answer here first, disregard my PM. It covers the same topic.

Re: Hey PhatGuy

Ford Blue NO.224 is da one! Ya the nozzle thing is just an idea....it may look rice but then again it might look nice?
Only one way to find out I guess? The entire nozzle with cap done might look good but not going to try doing the nozzle with the rim on.

I'm going to spray one cap and see how it looks...will post pic when dry.

I wouldn't....You can buy colored caps if needed. But I think it would look too ricey...

Ya you guys are probably right. I should save my paint for touch ups on the calipers. I saw a car at the show on the weekend that had them at it looked very sharp....it was an RX-7. Just looking for some low cost refinements.
