pics of my car
Ouch!
Both fenders and the hood.....Damn! Did you make someone mad or what? That would of made some serious noise....where did it happen?
Thank god no glass!!! That makes a true mess and makes the drivability of the car no fun. Hopefully you local bodyshop can order up the hood and fenders and paint them while you drive the car in damaged condition. That would make me cry if I say that ****! Makes you want to catch them SOB's!

If the insurance pays for a new hood and fenders, not to just pull/bondo the damage, you could consider swapping with the I30 hood and fenders. Then you could use I30 dual-filament headlamps and swap out the low-beams with a Panasonic HID kit.
A lot of work, but it would be interesting to see a I30/Maxima "hybrid". Bodykits might be a problem though.

I tried to do that but at the time I didn't have the extra $3400 for the conversion. Some mounts were different seeing as on the I30 the grill is fixed to the hood not the bumper, and the tinted HID lights were $1400.

Sorry about your car, I would just like to see some "good" come out of a F(U)CKED-UP situation.

How much is the check from the insurance? If you got a new hood, wouldn't the grill mount the same as on the I30? I know it wouldn't be free, but I'd like to know the difference. I'd go with the I30 headlamps($???) and the Panasonic HIDs($500) over the $1400.

The grill on our cars is fixed to the bumper, on the I30 the grill is fixed to the hood. So the latch for the hood had to be moved plus a few other support brackets had to be moved also.
Good did come out of it, painted grill, AE headlights, shaved emblems, and the color I always wanted.
