114K, What Mods To Do???

Just about 3 months ago I inherited my Moms 2000 SE 5-Speed. The car has 114K and still has ORIGINAL CLUTCH. Guess she can drive clean. Anyways, I love the car and have been debating on what mods are worth doing- if any. We have owned the car since day 1 so I know it's history which is clean. But still, 114k - what would be safe/ideal mods at this mileage? Really would appreciate any feedback from people with modded maximas in the 100K and above zone. Also, any suggestions on parts to replace/upgrade to extend the life of the Max would be great too.THANKS!

I don't think that would be very cheap.

I'd start with the basics intake, exhaust. How much speed or power you looking for? Setup some guidelines as what you want that would make things easier for helping you.

Look in the how-to's thread.

You'll find many mods to do that are free. (eg ghetto mods)

I can't wait to be able to that. Too many questions on mine and not much to answer on other peoples. I guess little comments like this will help though.

****. Look how long I have been visiting this site. I donated only 2 weeks ago and I still think it was well worth it. The OT forum is a hoot and by now even you can agree this website is swamped with information. It's just that more readily available and easier to find with the search functionality.

And ew, Sam Adam's? haha jk

114 on the clock's nothing for these motors with regular maintenance and care. In fact you'd have hardly ANYTHING to worry about with that kind of mileage sans maybe going into forced induction. You'll be alright. Happy modding.
