I have a 2002 GLE and I dont understand this but everytime I go over a bump, its like as if the whole dashboard area is rattling or shaking.. Does anyone know what can be causing this?

 

Cotton and a license/ID card. Stuff the cotton or other similar sound deadening material w/Credit Card/ID into small holes/crevices where said rattles are coming from.

I would do that but theres one problem, i dont know EXACTLY where its coming from, it sounds like its the WHOLE ENTIRE dashboard shaking or jumping up and down, BTW what is the "front pillars" these people in the thread speak of where the put the weather stripping, id like to try this, can you verbally show me where it is?

lol, thanks, but all these people have sorta different problems, i need to first diagnose EXACTLY where the rattle comes from, then ill get back to this thread, thanks...

 

The point is for you to go learn something from what they have all gone through. No symptoms of a similar problem are going to be the same in a different car, but the fixes however, can be the same.
