Is it common to have a border around the edges of door tint?

I know I've seen some that have it, but I don't recall.

Yea, there has to be a border. It should be very small tho, and can only be seen when the window on the car is partially down. It hides in the rubber seal when the window is closed. A good shop can do wonders with aftermarket tint.
