Body Kits?

I havent seen to many body kits for 5th gens on the org. For me, thus far any way, I dont have one on my car because where I live. Its just not pratical. I wonder if this is the all around census for members of this community?

Thoughts?

Um. They're definitely there. They're easy to find as well. Do a little research!

This thread is more of a poll for members to chime in what there thoughts are on the subject. Im well aware of whats out there. Thanks though.

Sometimes it seems like a race for members to see who can chime in first with "you should search". Its getting pretty old. If thats what the majority feel on this site about subjects that have been previously discussed in another thread, then maybe this site should be converted into a read only search data base, instead of a community. It seems that would satisfy the majority about repeat subjects being posted.

Well I'm agreeing with you that bodykits are limited.

Lets see what we got:

1) Stillen classic lip
2) Stillen touring lip
3) Stillen bumper
4) Jdubs body kit
5) Sarona body kit
5) R34 Skyline style body kit

Thats about it.

/thread.

well it isnt a poll without an actual poll at the top. to make a poll, you would have to actually know what some of the options are (which I'm doubting you know.)

if you want to see what kits are common, look at other threads (like the great picture one) to see. then make your own decision based on what YOU like and want on YOUR car.

Well it certainly is arguable. We have a thread specially designed for noobs to ask questions and have veterans answer them.

This way we reduce clutter in the 5th gen forum. Now you also have the option of using the poorman's search if you feel that it is unnecessary to donate in order to use Maxima.org's very useful search function.

If every single person started a thread to ask a single question, there would be way too many reposts.

I'm not flaming you. I'm making an important point.

Understandable. It would certainly clutter up forums if people constantly reposted the same subject over and over. But no matter what we do, its going to happen.

If we flame this member, it creates a unenviting atmosphere and makes this community look like a bunch of jerks, which would inturn discourage people from donating and supporting this site which we all know and love. I know I certainly think twice about posting. My suggestion would be to ignore the poster, and setup a sticky thread addressing why someones thread may have no replies. Just a thought.

But back to my post, just looking for comments from other members regarding why or why not they've decided to add or not add a body kit.

Why can't you have a kit in Winnipeg? I got a Stillen, I just take it off in the winter. No biggie.

Not worth it really. Not only winter, but Winnipeg streets are notorious for pot holes. Its not worth putting out the money when theres a good chance it'll get damaged.
