im looking to lower my car this week

do i need to get alignment done??

yes you need it. Get it or you could end up with massive tire wear very quickly. Ie 100 miles. It never hurts to get it dun. DOn't let them over charge you for a 4 wheel alignment. Cuz you can only adjust the front.

Yeah, get the alignment done when you lower your car.

when you take the car to the alignment shop, what should i say? "can i get an alignment, front wheels only?"

and how much should i expect to pay? im not going to nissan for this

Yup...shops usually offer 2-wheel or 4-wheel alignments. I've seen 2 wheels for $29.99 with coupon. Watch out, they'll usually try to talk you into doing all 4 wheels. Not necessary.

i forgot why we dont need to align the back wheels again after lowering.. refresh my memory.

damn!! i wish i read this post before i paid 60 bucks for alignment... oh well... well, since that 60 was for 4 wheels, i think 30 for two would be a fair price....
