i'm thinking about selling my stock 17's and using my after market 17' alloy rims ,will winter weather damage them or do you just have to clean them more often?

 

thats what I'm doing with my stock alloys, putting snows on them. Actually, if you spray them down in a car wash every so often when the roads are dry in the winter, they could coceivablelast longer than if they were on the car ALL the time, seeing how they would be in storage for most of the year...right?
