That price sounds more or less correct. Do some shopping around at local bike and ski shops for sales (alot of shops have switched to Yakima for larger profit margin, and have "leftover" Thule parts)

I am in S. NH, and I have a rack I'm on the fence about selling. It's actually all set up to drop on an 03. Right now it has all the locks, feet, etc., fairing, and two bicycle "rail type" fixtures. I also have 6 pack ski bars, with locks. My Mnt bike is for sale, and when I ski I put them inside the car now. Perhaps if I have someone interested it may get my azz in gear to part with it all...

It is all Thule, it has been stored inside (out of the elements) and is in very good shape. I bought it in 04'.

Do you have any use for the bike carriers?

OK... I'll take some pics tonight of the fairing and ski bars so you see exactly what I have and that it's in very good shape, and come up with a price. Check back in on this thread tomorrow...

I would highly recomment thule. The componets are beter quality and don't rust as easily as Yakima stuff does. My rack is about 10 years old now on its 3rd car and is still in excellent shape. And it's on the car year-round (until recently, since I haven't been riding much).

Yaki bars are a bit stronger, but that's only an issue if you're gonna carry lumber on the roof (I've been known to...). Otherwise, thule is tougher and the ski attachments are MUCH better than Yakima ones IMO.

Here's what I have, pictures, and a price. I'm not sure if the fairing is the one you wanted, and the ski bars (724) hold 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards (per Thule site). These ski bars leave plenty of room for an additional “angled” board carrier on the other side as a option. Remember this is off my 03' max so you know the feet, fit kit, bars etc. are specifically for your car as well. The spacing of the feet is also already set which is the only real pain in the azz when installing a new setup from scratch. I’ll give you first option and right of refusal before placing it in the proper forum for general sale.

$200
Aero Feet
Fit Kit
Load Bars
724 Flat Top 4pr Ski Carrier (2 boards)
Fairing (See Pic – Thule site does not show pics)
Qty-6 Lock Cylinders (4 rack, 2 ski bars)

you can't link the pics to your hard drive....you have to host the pics online at a place like Photobucket. Start an account there...it's free.

www.rackwarehouse.com is pretty good...bought a couple of components from there. I bought mine when EMS was had a 30% off coupon code. FTW.
I've had ZERO problems with the THULE SETUP and absolutely love it.
