i had jsut bought a 2002 maxima and when i have my lights on auto, it seems like my lights never turn off what is the programing steps to make the lights turn off ASAP

 

They don't turn off when you turn off the key and open the door?

 

If you leave your switch on auto for the headlights, the only way they will go off is if you have taken the keys out, open your door and all of the doors are close will the count down begins for the lights to shut off. If you get out the car shut the door, and then reenter the car the lights will stay on until all doors are closed again. if you turn off the car and never get out the car the lights will stay on for 5mintues max then they will shut off
