As giving your baby a two hour bath. Is it just me or is it relaxing to everyone else to just go out and lose yourself in washing the car. Not thinking about anything, just washing, rinsing, drying....

And then cursing at the lousy swirl marks and scratches from the dealerhsip!!!

First God created Nissan, and they used bad paint...

Then God created Zaino, and they created awsome polish...

After 13 days and 13 nights, the day of Maxus... God saw what he created, and he found no scratches.

Then God burned out on the 1/4 mile track in D.C. and said to himself "It is good."

Yeah just waxed my baby for the first time yesterday... I think this is the only mod that will cause the driver to loose the desire to go fast... Until an unsuspecting victum comes along.....

it's funny u posted this .. I also washed my car from the inside out ... cleaned the leather seats ... I think I'm going 2 have 2 quit smoking in the car ... sheesh! the rear seats were grey (they're actually black!)

then I cleaned the dash & other pieces by pulling them out where I could & cleaning underneath ... sheesh .. the assembly housing my shifter was filthy inside ... spilt coffee had made it's way in there

then I cleaned the inside windows ... omg ... i really need 2 quit smoking ... the cloth turned brownish yellow!!!

then i washed, dried & polished the car .. first time I used an actual sponge applicator pad ... makes a huge huge difference!!

then a couple hours later ... looking for some superwhite 194 bulbs ... (couldn't find any since they only sell blue bulbs) ... I took a break ... smoking a cig .. outside the car ... & admired how good it looked ... then I went up close ....

saw all the damn swirl marks! and cursed ...

No, but the dealrship preps the car when they take delivery (ie have teens paid minimum wage wash it) and they used circular motions and pressed way too hard in a few areas... I know it wasn't me, i don't do circles!

And ya, I'm going to look into some swirl/scratch remover. Meguiars....I'm a meguiar man to the bone (except for tires, eagle one wet there)

2 hours? I spend like 5 hours minimum. I think I wash my car more than I drive it.

Hehe... I can almost guarantee you that I will have the slowest time. My 18s and stock intake, I'll have enough trouble getting my *** off the line!

Not sure if I'm going to run the 1/4 mile... I'll leave it to the other guys on the forum... the ones with blue bottles in their trunk and with extra plumbing under the hood.

But if I do, I'll line up with ya!
