Paul2kGXE and I met up last Monday - the day I got my AEM CAI installed. We met up pretty late because I was going to do some runs with my G-Tech to test out my CAI and I wanted to avoid traffic.
We met up and checked out each other's cars. I took his Max for a spin and he showed me the handling capabilities of the Max on a local twisty road (holy shiznitz can the Max handle!!! ) and then after that he took my Accord for a spin and tested out the CAI :-D
By the time we were done driving and chatting it was pretty late so no race - but maybe next time. Paul???
Honestly, I think the Maxima/auto will have a slight edge stock vs. stock - but the Max/auto driver would DEFINITELY have to powershift at redline to win. The crappy 5900-6000rpm shift points really kill the potential and it felt like my AEM CAIed Accord V6 was a good bit faster at least when I drove Paul's Max. But when he powershifted it it felt a good bit faster and I don't know if I could have beaten him then.
Well - we need to shut up and race
