I've been trying to purchase this exhaust for the past 2 weeks, it's sold out everywhere. No one will have it in stock until the end of April.

I'm running it on my I35 there are no clearence issues with the bumper. the only problem is our bumpers stick out farther then the maxima's so the muffler tips sit about 1"-2" farther back then the stock ones

I should point out that these exhausts are mass produced with no quality checks. I along with a few others, had issues with this catback. Mine did not fit right, the hangers on one side were too long and mine hung crooked. Then it rested on the rear beam and vibrated the car and made hard clucks on the smallest bumps, I also had contact with that hanger on the B-pipe section and ratled the car even worse. I had a 3" exhaust custom installed on my car and it never once made contact anywhere it shouldn't and clunked against the rear beam either.

Now before all you Megan lovers become hopping mad, I'm doing this as a note, some of you just used it as a Catback, and I'm just making some people aware. I would like to note that this catback installed with headers is extremely loud.

So let the buyer be ware.

It's cool you had a factory tour!

Mine rattled slightly after installation, however all rattles disappeared once I changed out the original rubber mounts to new ones, so the exhaust piping sat and remained where it was designed to.

had the exhaust for 2 full years now, and during the winter too. really no issue with the quality of the exhaust. When I installed it there were some fitment issues along with rattling when going over bumps which were fixed for 10$ at an exhaust shop (all they had to do was bend the hangers a little bit)

After 2 years I do have a slight leak in one of the flanges, but I'm blaming that on my own craftmanship because I've been putting off re-tightening all the bolts for about half a year now.

Thats wonderful.

I was just posting what I experienced, and I know for a fact I wasn't the only one. The rubber mounts had nothing to with the fact that my axle back was not bent right and push the b-pipe over from the center channel under the car. I just thought I would show there are some flaws and thats why I mentioned the Mass production, all computer welded, so sometimes things can happen to be a little off with every 1 out of 100 produced, again thats what happens when you pay bargain basement prices.

your small rattles went away with new rubber, mine had nothing to do with the rubber mounts, mine had to do with NOTHING fitting right at all.

It's the resonator in this exhaust that causes fitment problems for some, BUT there's a super easy solution!

When you get a Cattman exhaust, Cattman tells you which way to mount the resonator, since there is a very slight bend in it that one wouldn't be able to see. Megan doesn't do this, and unless you know that you'll end up mounting the resonator the wrong way or upside down which will make everything fit poorly. This is exactly what happened to me. The exhaust was all bolted up and we were like "wtf? it doesn't fit right!". I had a hunch to turn the resonator around and lo and behold everything lined right up.

Called Megan, they basically told me its my problem. I had bought it when it first came out and didn't get around to installing it for about 2 months and in that time the company that sold it to me dissappeared. I ended up selling for a Frankencar which sounded better and later did a 3" exhaust.

This isn't Megans first product to be subpar, their coilovers are actually hit an miss.

I've had small production, non mass produced items for my car that didn't fit worth a damn either.

Oh well. Glad Megan got their fitment problem sorted out.

Purchased for $325 shipped from CVR Motorsports last week.

Quality was fine, though the cheapo gaskets supplied with the kit aren't very good. No problems with the install though.

My muffler has begun to flutter, sounds like a lawnmower under moderate acceleration. Really pissed off because it totally ruins the buttery smooth sound of a Maxima with Cattman headers, and Megan won't do anything about it either. Will never purchase from Megan ever again.

Ordered the exhaust like a month ago (nobody had it in stock), installed it 2 days ago.
Alright exhaust, as said before there are a few rattles (i have yet to fix), but overall installing it and fitment i would not say is terrible.
Got a new cat from warpspeed at the same time, and have a cattman y pipe and the exhaust is louder than i like, much drone inside the car, but have heard it sounds awesome outside...
Still scoping out some frankencar catbacks....
